THE "DRL" MOD YOU WILL HAVE TO PERFORM THESE MOD'S WORK FOR THE 95+ CAVALIERS AND SUNFIRES. IN ORDER FOR YOUR "SERVICE ENGINE" LIGHT TO NOT COME ON, YOU WILL NEED TO PERFORM A "DRL" MOD. THE LIGHT COMES ON BECAUSE THE CAR RECOGNIZES THAT YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT BULB RATHER THAN STOCK HOOKED UP. PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS IN ORDER TO ELIMINATE THE "SERVICE ENGINE" LIGHT TURNING ON. THIS IS NOT A BIG DEAL, RATHER A PREFERENCE.
95-99 DRL FIX (NO SIDE EFFECTS) THE WIRE IS ON THE MAIN HARNESS TO THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER. JUST CUT IT. 
2000-2006 DRL FIX (WITH NO SIDE EFFECTS) HERE IS A THREAD WITH PICTURES TO HELP YOU THROUGH THIS... http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=7&i=308067&t=308067 1. LOCATE THE BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) LOCATED ON THE DRIVERS SIDE KICK PANEL ( IN FRONT OF THE DOOR, BY YOUR FEET)
2. DISCONNECT MIDDLE PLUG (THE DOME LIGHT WILL GO OFF WHEN YOU DO THIS)
3. LOCATE THE "A" & "B" MARKINGS ON THE DARKER BLUE PORTION OF THE CONNECTOR
4. ON THE "B" SIDE ROW OF PINS, THERE IS A DARK BLUE WIRE SIX SPACES OVER FROM THE ONE SIDE, SEVEN OVER FROM THE OTHER. (ONLY DARK BLUE WIRE IN THIS ENTIRE PLUG, I COULDNT SEEM TO FIND THE SO CALLED A & B MARKINGS FOR THE LIFE OF ME ) CUT THIS WIRE A FEW INCHES BACK FROM THE CONNECTOR (YOU MAY HAVE TO UNWRAP SOME ELECTRICAL TAPE AROUND IT) AND THEN SIMPLY ADD A PIECE TO THE SIDE THAT COMES OUT OF THE MODULE CONNECTOR LONG ENOUGH TO REACH ANY GOOD GROUND LUG, LIKE A SCREW IN THE METAL PART OF THE DASH, AND GROUND THIS WIRE TO THE LUG. (IF YOU GROUND THE SIDE THAT COMES FROM THE WIRING HARNESS YOU HAVE DONE THE BEST MOD EVER, PERMANENT HEADLIGHTS !!!! DONT ASK ME HOW I KNOW THIS)
5. INSULATE THE END OF THE DARK BLUE WIRE COMING FROM THE WIRING HARNESS WITH ELECTRICAL TAPE OR USE A CRIMP ON WIRE CAP (SOME PEOPLE HAVE RIGGED SOME SORT OF SWITCH WITH THIS SO THEY CAN TURN THE DRLS BACK ON . . . NOT SURE HOW TO DO THIS BECAUSE I DONT WANT THE DRL'S ON)
6. REPLACE CONNECTOR
YOU ARE DONE!!! GOOD LUCK.
